Metamorphic map of South and East Asia

This map was prepared by the Metamorphic Map Sub-Commission of the CGMW and published by the Korean Institute of Energy and Natural Resources in 1985. The overall co-ordination of this mapping project was provided by Dr Sang Man Lee (Korea).

A specific facies classification scheme has been adopted, which takes into account the scale of the work and presents a combination of metamorphic features divided into isotherms and metamorphic series depending mainly on pressure.
