Description

/ The Changing Face of the Earth-Spanish Version

250 million years ago, at the beginning of the Secondary era -that of the great saurians-, the continents were united in a single large group, Pangea. This booklet presents ten stages – the most significant – in the dismemberment of this supercontinent.

Ten images that illustrate the course of the different continental blocks along which the geological characteristics of our planet as we know them today were defined.

This set of 11 annotated plates is intended for the general public and has been prepared on the basis of recent scientific work. It is accompanied by a glossary and a CD-ROM containing the boards in different formats (jpg, bmp, tiff, pdf) and a PowerPoint presentation.
