Metallogenic map of South and East Asia

This map was produced and published by the Metallogenic Map Sub-Commission of the CCGM under the general coordination of Dr. K. Kanchira of the Geological Survey of Japan.

The mineral deposits have been represented on a geotectonic basis, the regional characteristics of which are listed in the legend sheet. Deposits are identified using a combination of symbols that provide information about their geological context, the type of deposit and the age and size of the mineralisation.

This map is an excellent working document for university teachers and researchers, as well as geologists and mining engineers.
