Tectonic map of the Arctic (TeMAr)

The Arctic is a critical region in terms of environment, tectonics and energy and mineral resources. This new project under the aegis of the CGMW is built around a land/sea tectonic map highlighting the link between the margin structures and the crustal (oceanic/stretched continental) nature of Arctic basins. It is not only a tectonic map, but a more complete map including structural and geophysical aspects of the CGMW ocean maps (age of the seabed, peak magnetic anomalies...).
